We are pleased to let you know about an upcoming improvement to your email service.
From April 2026, your current email system provided through the Kindergarten IT Program will be moving to Microsoft 365, a secure modern and widely used cloud-based email service.
What does this mean for you?
This change brings several benefits:
Much larger mailboxes – each email account will have at least 50 GB of storage, so you won’t need to worry about running out of space
Reliable and secure email backed by Microsoft with access to the latest versions and features as they are released
Free access to Microsoft Office online, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which work in your web browser on any device
Microsoft 365 licences explained (simple version)
Each kindergarten will receive:
3 x Microsoft 365 A3 licences for 3 of your accounts
These allow use/download of the desktop versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint installed on a computer
100gb of mailbox space
All of your other email accounts will receive Microsoft 365 A1 licences.
A1 licences are great for everyday use
They provide browser-based access to Outlook and Office Applications
No software installation is required, just log in through a web browser
